OMFGWTFBBQ FINALLY A COMMENT! RIGHT WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO DELETE THIS POST! Well my script is based off Vykimo's script that's not on the internet anymore, I fixed it up, if I have it fully featured and working I'll release it EDIT: Updating fumbi to 1.3. I realized a lot of outdated code I need to switch out, especially the menu's with switch(select()) -

So I came across an idea from a other game that is totally able to be created with the Hercules emulator. I'm basically making a PvP match with a total of 12 players, but 1 out of that 12 is spawned as the 'Chaser' which has to 'Chase' and kill the 11 players, but the Chaser has temporarily improved thats (I'm going to go with +50 to every stat category if you are selected as Chaser) there would be 12 rounds, and whoever accumulates the most points wins at the end of the 12 rounds. If you kill the Chaser you would get I'd say +10 points and the match restarts as a new player as Chaser, for every person the Chaser kills, they get +1 points. If anyone could make the function of like when all the players spawn, 1 out of the 12 becomes Chaser. If anyone could help me with this idea, I have a section of code done but some parts are lacking in my knowledge I believe. I believe it's setting up the timers etc for everything. So for a while when I use a git pull on my hercules it would update to the latest revision. But now since ive been tampering with almost everything (mmo.h, script.c, atcommand.c and a couple others) now its tellingme to commit my changes. So I go to the files with a red mark on them, right click and commit changes then Iit turns green. As I proceed to git pull Iit updates but it overlaps the code I put in and totally messes my hercules up, meaning I cant compile. Is there anyway to stash my edits to the side, then update and reapply all my edits/additions? I have to keep gitting a new hercules and reapply everything... and im afraid at one point I will forget about something and it could break my server. How do I go about this with git?

Basically I'm running an OnPCLoginEvent when if they are so and so class, they get a certain variable attached to them that will later be used to determine what original class they chose for the game, as they purchase new classes they will be able to change into them, but if they logout with that new class the new class would get the new variable set for the original class script and totally mess that up. I'm trying to think what else to do but nothings coming to mind, probably another check for something else not sure, maybe within the script somewhere? Like before they use it the first time whatever 2-2 class they have, the npc will set that variable? Not sure I'm confused and need some help lol

Well is the variable a specific variable for events? like only on Event Monster, will you gain a point in #Event_Point, or is it for all events? If so you would need to adjust the scripts manually adding in in the variable #Event_Point with your equation, then you can make a listing of so and so character with getcharid(); so get their character id and make an if statement. It's not that hard when you logically think about it

How would I go about using the default Job changer that comes with Hercules, or allow whenever a character changes to 2-2 for the first time, that a permanent variable dependent on what class they chose, like 1stchoicelordknight variable or something, so that I can use that in a script. Basically I'm making a class mastery system with a revert to original class script, and I'm trying to code it but I have a few problems. I'm debating on whether to share the code or not, but I dont believe its necessary as its just a simple question

I don't know what problem you're facing but a quick workaround would be something like this probably: Create a script in the npc folder and make a function so in the itemdb you just use callfunc for what you want to happen, instead of using atcommand you use callfunc function<tab>script<tab>reload<tab>{atcommand "@reloadscript"+strcharinfo(0)+"";end;} and apply this code to any item that you're using to call the function reload callfunc reload; Weird workaround but I think it's the temporary solution to your problem...

It's a simple question. I'm looking to host an RO server that hosts an interest in the COMMUNITY meaning the vast majority of the left RO gamers. I want feedback, like I am making a server that has custom content that doesn't interfere with the end-gameplay of Ragnarok but has a twist with the original experience as well as the ORIGINAL end-gameplay experience, meaning, making bad ass characters, getting the gear you want, and having a blast in WoE/PvP/GvG anything RO related. That's what I feel people want who play Private servers, something unique but original, any thoughts on this? I mean there are very few who will join an private server not knowing what RO was. I was one of those people, and when I came to find out eAthena, I learned, coded, stood up late nights, almost failed high school, and have been wondering what I can do to make a decent RO with a decent player base. Fancy smanshy website, not me, I'm trying to get feedback to turn my RO into the RO people die for. So tl;dr version: What will attract mostly (Current) players of Ragnarok as well as new players to a RO server?

Sorry for double post but I want to give this person a better understanding. WHen new buttons are made in a client, we have to make the packets for them to work, meaning if we don't make those packets, the button that's new will cause the client to crash because we can't communicate with that button/packet(s). I don't think we can get rid of the buttons, just that we can add the functionality to the client.

Pretty sure that's hard coded in the client. Not sure if you can remove those buttons

In the 1.3 update im going to make the value for fumb20 variable whatever you want. Instead of having it be 20 you can configure what you want. UPDATE: 1.3 Update (1/24/2015) Added Server Name variable .@ServName$ so you may set your server name when Fumbi specifies him coming to your Server Made the script more customizable, now you are able to choose what amount of fumbi roll attempts you want, instead of 20 fumbi rolls, you can simply edit it from the fumbirolls variable! -

[Ragnarok Gacha System] Pull for Weapons. Pull for Armor. Pull for Cards. Simply Gacha. New features: 1) Be able to cycle back to main menu and quickly select new item to roll for. 2) Sound is disabled by default, so if you don't want to add client files, don't worry about it. Just put the script in server and test it out. 3) If your weight is above or equal to 50% you won't be able to gacha pull. Just imagine hitting 100% weight and your gacha item drops and someone snatches it real quick, that would be horrible. Default values (Edit OnInit Label): .gachaPulls = 20; // How many gacha pulls they need until they can pull for a card .weaponChance = 2; // Weapon chance 2% .armorChance = 2; // Armor chance 2% .weaponFee = 500000; // Weapon fee .armorFee = 400000; // Armor fee .cardFee = 900000; // Card fee $@godItems is an array of item ID's, these item ID's cannot be pulled (god items, super rare cards like gtb, etc, basically any item you don't want pulled add to the array). I could see a unique use for this. Custom monster transformation pvp? Pick your monster and enter the pvp as that monster. Thanks for this ill add that script to this when I create it thanks!
