  1. Why is the map_zone.conf configurations not accurate? Adjusting skill damage doesn't really reduce damage the way I wanted it. For example I tried to reduce damage of Psychic Wave. I put '50' on the adjust skill damage value. It doesn't reduce the damage by 50%. I tried putting '1' and it still has huge amount of damage. What is the exact calculation for this? Cart Tornado is also set to '1' already but still deal 150k damage lol.

  4. I did use the values of this in item_db. Axe [4] [One Hand] Item ID# 1302 (Axe_) I created a Two-handed axe but it's working fine. I can use axe tornado and other skills. Weird.
  5. Hi all, I'm having a problem using Axe Tornado (Mechanic Skill) with a custom weapon I created. (ex. custom axe). I can't use any axe skills of the Mechanic. Is there a database or list of weapon types where it should be added? or is there a specific weapon type i need to put in my item_db.conf Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks~
  6. Easy mate, use http://mailchimp.com/ It's free until you reach 2,000 emails/subscribers. You simply create a list and then you populate the list with emails either from a csv/text file, excel, google contacts, etc. There's also a limit of 12,000 emails per month.
  7. he just fixed possible server crash and derive the formula,,, just wondering why people ignoring this? I have the same issues with them the reason why I didn't update up to this revision yet. The new HP calculation is different and there's no way you can convert the old hp multiplier to the current one and get the same result. In my opinion, the old HP configuration is easier to adjust and you can way more balance it per job class. To be honest, I never used this to increase player hp/sp rate specially in Renewal. It simply makes other job go way higher in HP/SP than the others specially if you are playing in High Rates (255+). And the job_db gives you more freedom on adjusting these rates per job classes.
  8. @Aeoromesi Functionality is working fine but I'm getting this warning/debug message in the console. Also is it possible to enable this only on a certain specified maps? (WoE, specific pvp map) And is it possible for other supportive jobs/class to gain pvp points from their party members killing other players? Thanks in advance.
  9. I don't see any problem.. I tested it on Renewal, is that RE too? Barricades in renewal are similar to emperium. I only get 1 damage per hit. Tested it on actual players and it even reduced the damage of thana. lol Both High Wizard Card and Thanatos is not working on my end. This is the item script for Thana: (I added Demihuman just to be sure) bonus bDefRatioAtkRace,RC_Boss; bonus bDefRatioAtkRace,RC_NonBoss; bonus bDefRatioAtkRace,RC_DemiHuman; For HW card (I still get the same effect even if it ignores target's mdef): bonus bIgnoreMdefRace,RC_NonBoss; bonus bIgnoreMdefRace,RC_DemiHuman;
  10. @@malufett Sorry to revive this topic, but it seems that using the latest SVN, Inca weirdly gives higher damage than Thana. Target player has high def with max upgrades as well and there seem to be no change when using Thana at all. It even reduces the damage. (Tried both skills and normal physical attacks)

    Wow thank you very much. I'll test this asap EDIT: Looking good so far, I've tested it on my test servers and it's working fine. @hide+aura or aura+buffs status does not produce crash anymore. I'm moving this to my Live Server to see if it will still crash. @@Dastgir Map crashed again. To reproduce: - Get aura in-game - Get buffs/status - Character select - Map crash

  18. Hi all, I've been looking over the source files on where to edit the Deathbound skill of Rune Knight. Right now deathbound only reflects skills on a very close range (1 cell). Is it possible to increase it to 3-4 cells?   19. I still don't see the point of deleting this topic other than you trying to clear facts about your service. If you think you have handled or replied well to the issue, then people will believe you. This topic can be closed but deleting it would simply say that these things didn't happen thus, could probably lead to more clients experiencing the same dissatisfaction.
  20. The way you responded to a 'client' was plain stupid. And you do not let anyone suffer with your own personal problem. The fact that you have given your client a week to finish the project and not even replied to him for some update, you don't have right to claim for your efforts. You are just doing this to finish the project and close the deal and end the discussion, but not for your efforts to be recognized. This is what happen and the normal reaction when people already see the consequence of their fault. First, they immediately respond once a dispute has been given. Second, they'll try to finish what they've started after seeing bad remarks given to their name based on client reviews. If you are done with this, then just leave it. You cannot ask people to delete this. Learn from your mistake and do better. And please, be Professional. The fact that you are using the colors and flag symbols of a country irritates me a lot. You're just implicating others with what you do.
  21. Why in the world would someone pay to learn this vast c language Tbh, there's many tutorials(even if you google, you would get tons of it) Haha well I agree with you. However if you want to get more in-depth around advanced usage of these tools without losing the time to actually research on those, that could still work. But really, it depends on how you want to learn. These free tutorials are there everywhere, there are paid tutorials though that won't require you to jump on different sites to get the solution Like what are those sites to answer his question, that would be interesting to know too
  22. If you have some bucks to invest on your learning, give lynda.com a try. It's basically one of the oldest and most effective training ground for these tools. Their library continues to expand and cover new technologies available for devs. It also has a free trial btw.
