  1. Did you manage to find a fix to what you wanted? It's best if you actually posted it here because you never know, someone might want it as well. Also, I know you could kinda spam sonic blow about 2 times if you're fast enough.

  4. I would have to agree with this. I personally wouldn't use "Ragnarok-Based" hosters. I've had in the past when I did have a server, and the experience was never adequate (i.e. Frantech when that was still up). I then ran a server not using a "ragnarok-based" one, and well, there sure was a learning curve... especially if you're used to having things setup for you. I can only say, really, if you're okay with not having much control over your server, have things already setup for you, and pretty much given to you, then sure go with the resellers.

  7. Hey everyone! I've been working on another site for an upcoming server. I'd like to show everyone the theme. Please keep in mind that the name 'Ragnarok Renewal' and the logo at the top is not the server's real identity; just dummy data. The site is mobile responsive, adapts to your screen size, has automatic rss feeds that can be pulled from different URLs, and the theme is basically very light with tons of lightness throughout the theme. There are also parallax affects on the cover images. This is not your basic "all ro, need to see everything" design. As in, you won't see scrolling slideshows, or pvp banners, woe banners, etc.

  9. Why did you copy the renewal item db to the pre-renewal one? Both item_dbs are totally different. If you commented out (//) the renewal stuff in the source, you'll be using pre-renewal.
  10. Well I'm not sure about MvPs but I know people have been working on porting 3D models into RO such as a class from ToS and other monsters.

  12. I'm good. Thanks for asking. What I mean is, I don't condone using the old source code in any way since of course, it's extremely outdated. What I mean is, you need to take the NPCs and mobs / mob spawns from that old emulator since basically that's what you want. If you want to run with just 2-1 and 2-2 classes, remove the job changer or edit it to only allow changes to those classes. If you remove it, make the job changing questable.

  14. There are no old maps. In the Juno episode, they use the same maps. Just on those maps, the mobs and their spawns are different. Basically, you need to get the old old eAthena source from here --> http://svn.games-service.net

  16. Pardon me? Not quite sure I understand what you mean. Doram is the race, and Summoner is the class. Yes, that is the class sprite for Summoner.
  17. Oh this is a little neat actually lol. I loved playing the little matching card games when I was younger. Nice bringing similar concept to NPCs.

  20. Pretty much what Dastgir mentioned. You would typically @kickall, let things save, then close the servers. Once you kick everyone off, you're pretty much safe... if you just close the map server without kicking anyone, well then you're not safe lol. So typically, kick everyone, wait a few seconds and close the servers. I normally just closed them one by one starting with login --> char --> map... but that's because that was just me xD
  21. That's typically handled by the CSS. It's probably has some float: left attached to it. If you want, link me to your site and I can fix it for you. If it's a URL you don't want to share, you can PM me it as well.
  22. In your phpMyAdmin... your SQL database... do you have a database called 'ragnarok' ? You need to put in the database name that has all your server SQL tables, etc.

    Just because rAthena may have it, doesn't mean anything that 'Herc' is dead. The developers are always active in the repository... you would notice if you stopped and visited it sometime rather than replying with something that has no context in this topic or anywhere else for that matter.
  25. Gepard only protects client-side of things... and ROBrowser... is well, played through the Browser. I'm not even sure cheats can be used through the browser... o_O.
